Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis we face, this year’s Wave Awards has been further postponed until Monday 26 April 2021, in hope the restrictions will lift further and we can eventually celebrate together safely and in style.
The awards will still take place at 8 Northumberland Avenue and all details of the event will remain the same, we are simply changing the date.

The Wave Awards celebrate the very best of the UK’s cruise industry. The Oscars of cruising, they recognise and reward excellence and innovation in a business that is continuously evolving to deliver an exceptional experience, both on board and ashore.
The Wave Awards are owned and organised by Real Response Media, the company behind the market-leading brands World of Cruising and Cruise Trade News. Launched in 2015 and now in their fifth year, these awards are firmly established as the premier accolades in the industry.
To celebrate our fifth birthday, the Wave Awards are moving to a new venue. The winners will be announced on 16 October 2020 at the majestic 8 Northumberland Avenue.
Open to cruise lines, travel agents, tourist boards, ports and anyone involved in the UK cruise industry, whether they are based in the UK or abroad, The Wave Awards are your chance to showcase your brand, expertise and contribution to cruising.
The judging panel is made up of industry leaders, travel experts and representatives from the media, and there is also a special “Favourites” category, voted for by the public.
This year we’ve added new categories to The Wave Awards including Best Specialist Travel Agent, the Best Brand Partnership and the CTN Best Companies Programme. View the full list of categories and entry criteria.
